THE VERY GOOD GOSPEL
FEATuring Lisa Sharon Harper
JUNE 11, 2016 | 9:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.
Join us for a special justice conference featuring author and community development expert, Lisa Sharon Harper. Over the course of one day, we will explore the implications of the gospel on our approach toward renewal, leaning on Genesis 1 to 3 and the biblical concept of shalom. Then we will gain the basic tools and insights needed to analyze our community, strategize, build collaborative networks and take action through Sojourners' biblically-based Faith in Action mobilizing training. Finally, we will delve deeper into the topic of multiculturalism with a panel on the Black Lives Matter movement and an application of shalom to race.
